Harmignies
Locality: Harmignies-Carrières de cimenteries, Mons district, Hainaut, Belgium
Synonyms: FlintSource sample 115.
Geographical description: WhereItIs
Geographical co-ordinates: Lat. 50° 24' N
Long. 004° 01' E
(Mapdatum WGS 84)
Co-ordinate precision: This is probably the worst documented sample in our collection. Basically, we haven't any other information than we scribbled on the finds-card as we took the sample while underway from the Spiennes-area towards Obourg. It comes from a still active quarry somewhere near Harmignies, but no further information, apart from the photo below, is available.
